LC Smith Elementary was one of the many participants in the annual Relay For Life campaign. Various groups participated in this all night walk-a-thon at Lyford Stadium. Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.

Raymondville ISD adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for Maintenance and Operations than last year's tax rate.  The tax rate will raise taxes for Maintenance and Operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $116.40.
