FAQs

My child will attend on-campus learning.  Can I drop off lunch for him?

Students on campus will eat breakfast and lunch in the classroom or in small groups in the cafeteria.  Food from home must be sent with students in the morning. No midday meal drop-off will be allowed. Food brought by students from home will not be heated by teachers /staff members. Students should plan accordingly with the meal they pack.

Can my child still ride the bus?

Raymondville ISD will continue providing bus service to eligible students who attend on-campus.  Parents must fill out the 2020 School Start Survey, and a staff member will contact you. Students will wear a mask and will be spaced 6 feet apart on the bus.  Buses will have ion generators installed.

It is highly recommended that parents drop off and pick up their children to avoid exposure to COVID-19. Bus transportation is provided for all Special Education students when required by the student’s ARD and IEP. All general education students will be provided transportation from the designated transportation areas to each campus.
