Back-to-Back-to-Back! Raymondville Band Dominates Again and Marches Toward UIL Pigskin

The Raymondville Bearkat Band has once again proven they are a force to be reckoned with, earning back-to-back-to-back Grand Championships after dominating two major contests this past Saturday, October 11, 2025. At the Bay Area Marching Contest in Calallen, the Bearkats swept the awards with Best Drum Major, Outstanding Cologuard, Outstanding Percussion, First Place in Class 3A, and the coveted title of Overall Grand Champions—for the third consecutive year out of 29 bands. They carried that momentum straight into the Crossroads Marching Festival in Robstown, claiming Best Drumline, First Place in Class 3A, and once again Overall Grand Champions out of 30 bands. From the podium to the field, every Bearkat brought unmatched power, precision, and pride. A roaring congratulations to the directors, drum majors, cologuard, percussion, band members, supporters, and boosters who fuel this excellence day after day. The journey isn’t over—catch them this Saturday, October 18, at UIL Pigskin in La Feria Stadium at 8:15 p.m. as they continue their championship run!
