Raymondville ECHS Students Earn Associate of Science Degrees from Coastal Bend College

Fourteen extraordinary students from Raymondville Early College High School (RECHS) are celebrating a milestone that sets them apart—not only as graduates, but as pioneers of perseverance, academic excellence, and ambition. This is the most in school history and the most in Willacy County.

These Bearkats have successfully earned their Associate of Science Degree from Coastal Bend College, all before receiving their high school diplomas. Their accomplishment reflects more than academic success; it represents years of dedication, late nights, and an unwavering drive to balance coursework, family responsibilities, and extracurricular excellence.

The following students are being recognized for this remarkable achievement:

  • Brian Nunez Olivarez
  • Saray Perez
  • Arian Rivera
  • Joshua Rodriguez
  • Faith Rios
  • Aaliyah Tello
  • Brissa Tello
  • Hannah Urbina
  • Miguel Umanzor
  • Slevin Gutierrez
  • Danielynn Conde
  • Cassandra Garcia
  • Corrina Flores
  • Aaliyah Trevino

Each of these scholars completed rigorous college-level coursework in subjects ranging from mathematics and science to composition and the arts—earning credits that position them ahead of their peers as they transition into four-year universities or professional pathways.

Many of these graduates also held leadership roles, participated in athletics, fine arts, academic clubs, and service organizations—proving that success is not limited to the classroom.

Through the Early College partnership with Coastal Bend College, Raymondville ISD continues to provide students with access to higher education, college readiness, and meaningful career pathways. These 14 graduates are the embodiment of that mission in motion.

Talk about a major accomplishment! Before receiving their high school diplomas, these trailblazers are already stepping into the world as college graduates. As they prepare to walk across two stages—college first, then high school—our community is filled with pride, hope, and excitement for their next chapter. Way to go, RECHS Class of 2025 Associate of Science Graduates—Raymondville is proud beyond words!
