Wheels of Appreciation: RISD Schools Celebrate Grandparents in Style

Both Elementary schools in the Raymondville Independent School District commemorated Grandparents Day with a vehicle parade, recognizing the vital contributions of grandparents to the school community. The event, held at each campus, saw decorated vehicles parade through each elementary school's designated route, as students and staff lined sidewalks to wave signs, applaud, and express appreciation. The celebration was designed to honor and include grandparents, acknowledging their influence on students' academic and personal growth. Participants decorated their vehicles with banners, balloons, and personal messages, creating a festive and inclusive atmosphere.

Raymondville Bearkats Dominate La Grulla Gators 41-6

The Raymondville Bearkats delivered a commanding performance against the La Grulla Gators, securing a decisive 41-6 victory in their recent football matchup. Exceptional play on both offense and defense allowed the Bearkats to dominate, outscoring the Gators by 35 points at the game's end.
